Never Be Afraid to Ask the Question
Nov 07, 2024A few months back, I received an unexpected email from Alex Calegari in California. He’d recently purchased a set of our active shooter decision decks, hoping they’d work for his office setting. But then, he thought, Why not reach out and see if they’d create a custom set for office scenarios?
Intrigued, I asked Alex if he had 10 minutes for a Zoom call. During our chat, he shared invaluable insights and scenarios that a front desk or office team might encounter daily. It was clear—this was an idea worth exploring.
Alex didn’t just stop at the idea. He joined us in brainstorming, contributing scenarios and insights that brought the concept to life. Thanks to his input, we’re now developing a decision deck tailored specifically for front desk staff.
Reflecting on Alex’s bold move to reach out, I realized how often we hesitate to take that first step. If Alex hadn’t asked, he might still be wondering when we’d release an office-specific deck. But he did ask—and now we’re making it happen.
Remember, never be afraid to ask the question. I can’t wait to share our new front desk deck with all of you soon!
